All of our robot designs were based on game strategy calculations to maximize points. We first calculated the game’s score cap, determining that 20 samples fit in the high basket and 18 specimens in the high chamber. To maximize either, we needed a 5.5-second sample cycle and a 7-second specimen cycle. Prior gameplay and match analysis showed that focusing on one at a time reduced interference with alliance members. Measuring cycle times helped us optimize mechanism speed and determine the necessary degrees of freedom.
Autonomous Pathing
Our plan for the optimal match is to get a total of 252 points.
