Our team has a goal to participate in at least one outreach a month.
We mentor many teams such as:
Gemin√-1’s – We mentored and helped them make a working Rev Robotics swerve drivetrain.
Ædificatores – We mentored in person during their meetings and helped teach CAD.
Agents of Change – Mentored virtually, and helped with their build and taught them coding concepts.
Titans of Aurora – After starting them last year we have continued to mentor them at all meetings.
Techno Domination – We helped form them, taught them CAD, and mentored them at multiple meetings.
Stanislas Tech Team – Mentored virtually, and helped with code. We helped them design their intake.
Heights Robotics – Mentored them, and taught coding concepts for FTC in OnBot Java.
Positive Protons – We mentored and taught them to code basic Python, and proper research.
Double Digits – Mentored them by showing up to meetings and helped with presentation.
Robocats – We mentored focusing on the innovation project and helped develop a prototype.

FIRST Event Volunteering
As a team, we have spent 360+ hours volunteering at FIRST events this season. We have actively worked 285 matches, which is 67% of OH FTC matches. We have volunteered for many vital roles, such as Referee, Emcee, Inspection, Field Reset, Student Tournament Director, Load In & Out, FTA, FLL Judge, FLL Referee, etc.
We also organize and participate in many local events to spread awareness of FIRST such as:
- The Rockwell Automation Advanced Programming Workshop where we impacted over 13 FLL teams by sharing our Coding expertise and Programming concepts
- The FIRST Open houses at our schools where we showed more students the wonders of robotics
- Robotics Merit Badge Challenge where we demoed our robots and led this merit bade for scouts getting more people involved in FIRST
- The Hudson Ice Cream Social were we spoke to families and demoed our robot
- Replay for Kids where we modified toys for kids with Special needs
- The Aurora Turtle Friendly where 13+ teams competed in a friendly competition we organized and ran
